FAQ

  • What time does the event begin and end?
    Gates open Friday at 9 am, and activities start Friday 11 am. Gates open at 8 am Saturday and Sunday (the program starts at 9 am) Gates close at midnight and all day ticket holders need to be off the premises by that time. Main event activities end Sunday at 11 pm. We ask everyone to leave the site by Noon on Monday.
  • What are the age restrictions?
    Friday 18+ Adults only Saturday 18+ Adults only Sunday All ages welcome Family Day Tickets are available for Sunday only. Please note children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Any questions please email; atfungievents@gmail.com
  • Are children allowed at the festival?
    Children when accompanied by an adult can purchase tickets for Sunday, our designated family day. No children are allowed to stay overnight. Family Day tickets are for Sunday only.
  • Will tickets be available on the gate?
    It is unlikely that tickets will be available on the gate as we are likely to sell out due to limited capacity. Please keep an eye out for updates on this website!
  • Disabled access?
    Our workshops, talks and campsite are accessible we are on natural land (Meadows) but the Foray's (Mushroom ID walks) will be on some uneven ground and difficult terrain. If you have any concerns please email atfungievents@gmail.com
  • How do I get a refund?
    We do not provide refunds, you can sell or transfer your ticket to another person. In the event of unforeseen cancellation of the event, we will try and reschedule the event if possible. If this is not possible then you will be able to use your ticket for one of our other events.
  • How do I get there?
    Please see our travel page for full details of how to find us.
  • Where can I camp and can I take my car on site?
    Please ensure you bring no more than you are able to carry to the campsite as for health and safety reasons cars have to be parked away from our main camping areas. It may be up to a 5-minute walk.
  • Can I bring my campervan or caravan?
    Yes. If you are bringing a campervan, caravan or similar live-in vehicle please purchase a live-in vehicle pass. It will save you time if you do this in advance although you can do this on the day if necessary. We aim for each live-in vehicle pitch being around 5m x 6m, although there may be slight flexibility on this. We try to avoid mixing tents and live-in vehicles as much as possible although reasonably-sized awnings are fine. See tickets page.
  • Can I bring my pet?
    No pets are allowed at this event.
  • Litter & Recycling
    On a practical level, we ask that you take any rubbish that you bring home with you. We will have bins provided and recycling separated. We ask that you limit the glass you bring on-site. Please decant and remove any packaging prior to arrival. All of our food waste will be composted by local organisations and will be returned to the soil.
  • What should I bring with me?
    Walking shoes or boots will be essential for the forays some of the terrain is uneven and steep. Be prepared for a weekend camping, outdoor clothes and wet weather gear in the event of rain. Snacks and a water bottle. We're asking people to take their own rubbish home so please consider what you bring in site.
  • Will there be music and what time will it finish?
    There will be Live and amplified music until 11 pm each night. This will include DJ's and live bands. Please note the festival is designated a dark sky and quiet zone after 11 pm.
  • Are workshops free of charge?
    There will be a full programme of workshops included in the ticket price. However, there will be other activities available that may come at an additional cost. Each ticket holder is entitled to x1 foray per day.
  • Is there an ATM?
    There is no ATM on site, please be sure to bring enough cash to last the event. The nearest available ATM will be the closest town to the site.

  • Is this an Alcohol-free event?
    We will not be selling alcoholic drinks. We have an alcohol-free 'Funky Fungi Bar' If you choose to bring drinks we request that you drink responsibly. We're asking you to recycle all that you bring so please limit the amount of glass and plastic waste. On a practical level, we ask that you take any rubbish that you bring home with you. Please decant and remove any packaging before arrival.
  • What are the food options?
    A comprehensive selection of carefully selected street food vendors Including Vegan, gluten-free options. For any allergy or dietary requirements please check with the individual vendors. Please remember that this is a camping festival, therefore you can bring all of your food preparation and cooking utensils to self-cater. We do not allow open-fire cooking or BBQs
  • Is there free drinking water?
    There is free drinking water from communal taps. If you are preparing food, it can be useful to bring a small washing bowl for washing up.
  • Is there an accessible toilet?
    Yes, We have toilets, including accessibility toilets.
  • Showers?
    Showers with hot water will be available
  • What is the camping set up?
    There is a communal fire to toast your toes, but please do not build your own camp fire anywhere. Do make sure you bring enough warm bedding to avoid being nippy at night. You need to bring all of your own camping set up. A camping chair or something to sit on. There’s no light pollution, so bring a normal torch or UV torch for late-night trundles. Waterproof clothing is always useful in the British weather, fingers crossed we don’t need them! If you’d rather glamp, there is more information about this on the website.
  • Can I build a fire?
    Personal campfires (for either cooking or warmth) are not allowed anywhere on site – we provide communal fires instead. Please do not light candles or solid fuel fires inside your tent at any time. Always be mindful of fires of any kind.
  • Safety / Out of bounds
    Please respect the boundaries of the land and do not roam into areas that say “Private Land” or “Keep out”. Festival boundaries are monitored 24 hours a day by CCTV. Please respect the surrounding neighbours' privacy. Please listen during the safety briefing before any activity or foray.
